Boarding The Aircraft
Tiger Airways operates a single-class cabin and gives you the option to select a seat when making your reservation. This can be done for a fee of S$5 or A$5 (or local currency equivalent) per sector, per passenger via the website or the call centre. Extra legroom/emergency exit seats can be purchased at a fee of S$25 or A$25 (or local currency equivalent) per flight, per passenger. You should be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Boarding closes 10 minutes prior to departure. Passengers arriving late at the boarding gate will not be accepted for travel, their bags will be offloaded and no compensation given. For travel on a later flight, you will be required to purchase a new ticket at the applicable fare.
At many Tiger Airways destinations the aircraft is boarded using the aircraft steps. If you feel that you require assistance in boarding please contact our call centres at least 72 hours prior to departure.
